Are you at the beginning or mid-stage of your project management career and ready to grow within complex offshore projects? At Allseas, we are looking for an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the execution of disposal contracts within our decommissioning projects. You will become part of the Project Management Department in Delft, where we deliver some of the world’s most advanced offshore construction and decommissioning projects.

Job Description

Your role 

As Assistant Project Manager (Disposal), you support the Project Manager in coordinating and managing the disposal scope of decommissioning projects. This includes the disposal of offshore structures such as platform topsides and jackets once they have been removed by our vessels. Your focus lies on contract support, coordination of subcontractors, cost control and interface management, ensuring that disposal activities are executed safely, on time and in line with contractual agreements. 

 

What you will do 

  • Support the) management of the disposal contract, including scope, planning, costs and reporting
  • Assist in the evaluation, review and administration of disposal-related subcontracts
  • Monitor progress, budgets and forecasts for disposal work packages
  • Act as a linking pin between internal disciplines (engineering, operations, HSE) and external subcontractors
  • Support supplier coordination and ensure contractual obligations are met
  • Contribute to safe execution of disposal operations in line with Allseas’ HSE standards
  • Help prevent non-conformities related to quality, process and management systems
  • Support handovers between project phases and assist in documentation control
  • Participate in load-in and disposal activities, including frequent visits to disposal yards 

Education & Experience

You are structured, proactive and eager to learn. You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary environment and feel comfortable supporting both technical and contractual topics. 

 

You bring 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related field 
  • 2–5 years of experience in a project-oriented environment (preferably offshore, marine or industrial)
  • Affinity with contract management and supplier coordination
  • Awareness of HSE principles within industrial or offshore environments
  • Strong communication skills and a hands-on mindset
  • Willingness to travel to disposal locations in Europe
  • Pro-activeness
