Allseas is developing a 25MWe/70MWth high-temperature gas cooled Small Modular Reactor (SMR). This compact, intrinsically safe, and scalable design makes the SMR suitable for a wide range of applications. From offshore vessels, bulk carriers, container ships, and port areas to industrial sites such as chemical clusters, steel plants, refineries, and datacenters.

Job Description
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in the preparation and execution of this complex and strategic project. A central focus of this role is supporting the establishment and management of key contracts.
You will work closely with the Project Manager, Commercial Manager, and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Engineering & Documentation: Translate input from the engineering team into clear requirements and scopes of work for key subcontracts. Coordinate technical documentation, drawings, and specifications, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Subcontractor Management: Work closely with engineers and subcontractors for technical delivery and material supply.
- Contract Management: Handle contract changes, concessions, and commercial aspects; negotiate variations and claims.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain close contact with clients, suppliers, and authorities to safeguard commercial agreements and permits.
- Budget & Reporting: Prepare cost estimates, progress reports, and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
- Process Optimization: Implement improvements in project processes and contribute to strategic innovations.
- HSE & Quality: Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements throughout all project phases.
- Risk Management: Identify commercial and operational risks and develop mitigation plans.
Education & Experience
You are organized, communicative, and hands-on. You can switch between priorities and thrive in a dynamic, technical environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Master in a technical discipline
- minimum of 5 years relevant experience in project management or coordination, preferably in a technical context.
- Understanding of contract management and interest in commercial aspects.
- Affinity with complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
