In this role, you’ll help shape and implement our cyber security strategy, focusing on risk management, regulatory compliance, and awareness across the organization. You’ll work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to ensure our operations remain secure, resilient, and aligned with industry standards.

Job Description

As a Cyber Security Consultant, you’ll be responsible for identifying and managing cyber risks, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and fostering a culture of security awareness. You’ll lead initiatives that improve our security posture, support audits and assessments, and deliver engaging awareness campaigns that empower employees to make secure choices.
You’ll collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to translate complex security requirements into actionable policies and training. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk assessments and support the development of mitigation strategies;
  • Support Allseas’ journey toward ISO 27001 and NIS2 alignment by identifying gaps, defining priorities, and contributing to roadmap execution;
  • Develop and deliver cyber security awareness programs, including training, simulations, and internal campaigns;
  • Support internal and external audits, including evidence collection and reporting;
  • Educate and advise stakeholders on security governance, risk, and compliance matters;
  • Monitor regulatory developments and advise on implications for Allseas;
  • Collaborate with IT, legal, HR and operational teams to align security policies with business needs;
  • Create clear documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidance materials;
  • Contribute to periodic dashboard reporting for management on risk and compliance metrics;
  • Collaborate with cyber security Engineers to ensure technical controls effectively support compliance objectives.

Education & Experience

You are a strong communicator with a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach. You enjoy translating complex security concepts into practical actions and engaging content. You’re comfortable working across departments and have a keen eye for detail.

In addition, you have:

  • A BSc or MSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience;
  • 3–6 years of experience in cyber security, risk, or compliance roles; 
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and NIS2;
  • Experience with IAM, audit processes, and awareness initiatives;
  • Strong communication and documentation skills;
  • Ability to balance business needs, compliance risks, and technical feasibility;
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills;
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
