Job Description

As a Legal Counsel at Allseas, you play a pivotal role in supporting the business on legal and insurance matters that are integral to our day-to-day operations. You will help ensure a robust contractual framework for various initiatives and commercial projects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our management systems. Selecting and negotiating the right terms, managing insurance, and identifying and mitigating risks are just a few of the key aspects of your role.

Your responsibilities include:

• Providing legal advice and support on commercial contracts;
• Offering hands-on legal assistance for projects and vessel-related matters;
• Ensuring and overseeing insurance coverage for projects;
• Managing dispute resolution processes.

Education & Experience

• Law degree required;
• At least 8 years of experience in English and/or Dutch law;
• Proven expertise in international and (offshore) construction dynamics;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• A hands-on and result-driven mindset;
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities;
• Skilled in negotiating favourable contractual terms;
• Fluent in both Dutch and English;
• Willingness to travel internationally.
