Job Description
As a Medior Legal Counsel at Allseas, you will be responsible for supporting offshore projects by providing practical legal advice. You help ensure that complex commercial and offshore operations run smoothly, enabling projects to move forward efficiently and safely in an international environment. This role gives you the opportunity to further develop your expertise while making a real impact on cutting-edge projects.
Your responsibilities include:
- Advise on and negotiate commercial contracts for offshore projects;
- Provide legal support for vessel-related matters and international operations;
- Coordinate insurance coverage, liaising with internal stakeholders and insurers;
- Assist in dispute resolution and manage claims arising from offshore operations;
- Contribute to improving legal, contract, and risk management processes across projects.
Education & Experience
- Master’s degree in law (LLM or equivalent);
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in English and/or Dutch law;
- Experience with international commercial contracts;
- Experience in the offshore or construction sector is a strong plus;
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English;
- Proficiency in Dutch is considered a strong plus;
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate and review commercial contracts effectively;
- Willingness to travel internationally.
