Job Description

As Technical Supervisor Electrical & Instrumentation, you take ownership of the electrical safety, reliability and technical integrity of our LV and HV installations and electrical work equipment.

This isn't primarily a hands-on electrician position. It's a technical supervisory role for someone who understands electrical installations well enough to set the standard, organise the work and ensure it is carried out safely and correctly.

Based in Delft, your scope includes our locations in Heijningen, Rotterdam, Eindhoven and Enschede. Occasionally, you'll travel offshore to support our vessels.

Your responsibilities include:

• Safeguarding the safe operation of LV/HV installations and electrical work equipment;
• Developing and maintaining electrical safety policies, procedures and access regulations;
• Coordinating periodic inspections and ensuring identified defects are resolved;
• Performing electrical safety risk analyses and internal audits;
• Maintaining procedures for operation, maintenance, inspection and safe isolation;
• Supervising electrical work performed by subcontractors and third parties;
• Coordinating with internal technical specialists and advising crew when required;
• Keeping technical documentation, records, drawings and diagrams up to date;
• Preparing annual and long-term maintenance, improvement and modification plans and budgets;
• Drafting technical specifications for new or upgraded installations;
• Supporting Equipment Electricians with complex troubleshooting when required.

You won't do everything yourself. An important part of your role is ensuring that the people carrying out electrical work have the right knowledge, qualifications and instructions and that work meets Allseas' technical and safety standards.

And you won't only look at today's installations. You'll help us think 5–10 years ahead, anticipating maintenance, modifications, changing regulations and new technologies.

Education & Experience

What do you bring?

We're looking for someone with a strong electrical foundation who is ready to take broader technical ownership.

You don't necessarily need to come from offshore. Experience in an industrial, shipbuilding, dredging or construction environment can be equally relevant.

What matters is that you understand electrical installations, take safety seriously and are comfortable coordinating work across different locations, disciplines and stakeholders.

We would like you to bring:

• An MBO/HBO degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
• At least 3 years of relevant experience within an industrial or similarly technical environment;
• Good knowledge of electrical safety and relevant standards and legislation;
• Knowledge of NEN 1010 is an advantage;
• NEN 3140 / NEN 3840 IV or WV certification, or the willingness to obtain it;
• STIPEL certification is a strong advantage;
• Good command of English and Dutch, as part of our technical documentation is in Dutch;
• A structured, accurate and safety-conscious way of working;
• The confidence to coordinate internal specialists, subcontractors and third parties;
• Willingness to occasionally travel to our other locations or offshore.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes ownership. Someone who doesn't simply notice that something could be safer or better, but makes sure something is actually done about it.
