Job Description

As an HR Crew Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in managing HR-related matters for our crew within the relevant discipline department. You will work closely with a Crew Discipline Planner and Crewing Assistant to deliver a comprehensive service approach to our crew. 

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Handle all aspects of HR for crew members within the relevant discipline department.
  • Manage HR crew-related matters within the Crew Management System.
  • Actively participate in projects aimed at improving departmental processes and ways of working.
  • Oversee and monitor career plans for current crew members, including development steps.
  • Manage and administer absence, sickness, and reintegration processes.
  • Analyse the future needs of your discipline group and provide advice on crewing targets.
  • Maintain an up-to-date handbook, standard operating procedures, and checklists of procedures.
  • Maintain regular contact with the Recruiter regarding the search for external candidates.
  • Evaluate and assess candidates in collaboration with the relevant discipline department.

Education & Experience

In order to be successful in this role, you should recognize yourself in most of the following criteria:

  • Most importantly, you are very hands on and know how to prioritize multiple tasks in a hectic work environment
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role is desirable
  • You have a bachelors (or HBO) degree in HR or a related field, or you obtained a similar level by experience
  • Experience in a marine/offshore environment is a plus, but not a must
  • You have good knowledge of the most common MS Office applications
  • You possess excellent communication skills in English, Dutch is a great asset.
