Unit Head Marine Workforce Planning

But offshore doesn't stand still. Vessel schedules move, projects evolve, people rotate on and off vessels and operational requirements change. You can't manage that environment by creating a perfect plan and expecting everyone to follow it. You need an organisation that knows how to move with it.

Job Description

As Unit Head Marine Workforce Planning, that's exactly what you'll help build.

You lead a multidisciplinary team of Workforce Planners and HR Crew Consultants and, together with the Manager Crewing and other Unit Heads, translate the ambitions of Allseas into the way Marine Crewing operates.

Your role goes far beyond making sure today's planning works. You'll look ahead: What capabilities will our fleet need tomorrow? How do we balance immediate crew requirements with longer-term workforce needs? Where do we need clearer responsibilities, better collaboration or stronger processes? And how do we create structure without making a dynamic offshore organisation bureaucratic?

You'll further develop workforce and capacity planning, monitor competencies and future staffing needs, strengthen frameworks, KPIs and SLAs and help improve the way different disciplines work together. You'll work closely with Operations, Vessel Management, HR and other stakeholders and use operational feedback to continuously improve the organisation.

We're not looking for someone who walks in with a blueprint and tells everyone how things should be done.

We're looking for someone who listens first, understands the operation, asks the right questions and isn't afraid to challenge existing ways of working. Someone who can create direction without creating resistance and who knows how to turn ideas into improvements that actually work in practice.

Education & Experience

Your background could be in workforce planning, operational HR, resource management, organisational development or Operational Excellence. Experience within offshore, maritime or marine crewing is highly relevant, but isn't a requirement. Experience in another complex and dynamic operational environment can be just as interesting.

What matters is that you've led people, can translate strategy into practical ways of working and understand how people, planning and operations come together.

You'll take on a leadership role with real impact on the people behind some of the world's most complex offshore projects, with the opportunity to help shape how Marine Crewing develops for the future.

Because ultimately, this role isn't simply about making sure the planning works.

It's about building a Marine Crewing organisation capable of moving with our operations, today and in the future.
