Division Description

Department Description

Allseas has state of the art equipment that is utilised worldwide. The Operations Division is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of these assets and their associated equipment. In addition, Allseas has in-house fabrication capabilities including, heavy construction works, a machine shop and a manufacturing facility. A strong link exists with the project organisation that prepares the work and assists during execution of commercial and capital projects.

The division consists of various departments that collaborate to operate our assets in the best possible way. The following departments form the operations division: Operations, Technical Department, Technical Services, QHSE (including Quality Control), Survey, Chartering & Logistics, Material Management, Supply Chain Coordination, Site Management & Support and Fabrication.

The Site Management & Support Department consists of a team of Health-, Safety-, Environment-, Security- and Service- driven colleagues, who are working close together to manage and support the Allseas onshore Sites in the Netherlands (NL).

Job Description

As a HSE Officer, you are responsible for:

• Providing HSE Support and promotion of HSE awareness to the Allseas onshore Sites (NL).
• Training, coaching and meeting with the ERT organisations of the Allseas onshore Sites (NL).
• Organising and chairing site HSE meetings on Unit Head level.
• Taking HSE lead: Pharius, Chemrade, IPS, RI&E, ADR, PGS-15, WRA, Area Authorities, PTW and audits.    
• Being familiar with rules and regulations which are applicable for the Allseas onshore Sites (NL).
• The physical presence of a HSE Officer where needed (Daily: Rotterdam and Heijningen).

Education & Experience

• Middelbaar Veiligheidskunde (MVK) or Hogere Veiligheidskunde (HVK).
• At least 5 years relevant experience.
• In-depth understanding of the HSE services/products Site Management & Support provides.
• Good understanding of how own discipline integrates within Allseas onshore Sites in the Netherlands.
• Contribute independently and provides on-the-job support to own department and Sites
• Have deep impact through the responsibility for the quality of the work.
• Take actions independently on own accord, shows initiative, is creative in own scope and sets an example to others by taking action and presenting HSE solutions.
• Influence decisions through advice to others in area of HSE specialisation.
• Enforce HSE policy, rules and/or regulations, in a decisive manner.
• Coach and influence other people and ensure high quality work.
• Excellent command of Dutch language is required.
