Job Description
As a Welder, you’ll carry out critical welding tasks using both MIG/MAG and TIG techniques, ensuring every weld meets strict technical and safety standards. No two projects are the same, and your precision and adaptability will be essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning welding activities with your foreman at the start of each project
- Performing high-quality MIG/MAG and TIG welding on various materials
- Visually inspecting your work and discussing improvements with your team lead
- Maintaining welding equipment and reporting issues when further maintenance is needed
- Actively contributing to a safe and clean working environment, both on-site and offshore
Education & Experience
You’re an experienced, detail-focused welder with the technical know-how and mindset to deliver top-quality work under pressure. You’re a team player with a passion for continuous improvement.
Your profile:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in the offshore or heavy steel industry
- Proven experience with both MIG/MAG and TIG welding (valid MIG/MAG certificate, min. 1.2 mm)
- Ability to read and interpret WPS documents and technical drawings
- Good command of Dutch or English (written and spoken)
- A safety-first mentality and a strong sense of responsibility
