Job Description
As the Document Controller, you will play a key role in supporting engineering and project teams by managing project drawings, technical documentation, and document control processes. In addition to document control responsibilities, you'll also have the opportunity to support general administrative and project coordination activities whenever needed, making you an important part of the team's day-to-day success.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and maintaining project documentation, drawings, and records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinating document creation, review, approval, distribution, and archiving through the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
- Maintaining document registers, drawing registers, and project filing systems to ensure accuracy and traceability.
- Supporting project teams with document tracking, retrieval, distribution, and other document control activities.
- Assisting with office administrative tasks, project coordination, and other ad hoc support activities when required.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and helping maintain high standards in document management and project support.
Education & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Document Controller, preferably within an international organisation.
- Experience working with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and document control procedures.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication skills and a strong command of written and spoken English.
- A proactive team player who enjoys supporting colleagues and contributing wherever needed.
