Do you enjoy working closely with managers and employees, providing practical HR advice, and helping the business solve people-related challenges?

Allseas Marine Contractors Malaysia (AMM) is looking for an HR Consultant to join our HR team in Kuala Lumpur.

This role is ideal for someone with 4 to 8 years of HR experience, particularly in an HR Business Partner (HRBP), HR Generalist, or HR Advisory capacity, who is looking to further develop their career in a dynamic and international environment.

Job Description

• Partner with managers and employees on day-to-day HR matters
• Provide advice on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary matters, and employment practices
• Support recruitment, onboarding, contract management, and employee lifecycle activities
• Assist with workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning initiatives
• Coordinate annual performance and salary review processes
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour legislation and company policies
• Support HR reporting, workforce analytics, and process improvement initiatives
• Work closely with stakeholders to deliver practical and business-focused HR solutions

Education & Experience

• Malaysian citizen
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline
• 4 to 8 years of relevant HR experience
• Experience in an HRBP/ HR Generalist
• Good knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and HR best practices
• Experience supporting managers and employees across various HR topics
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a hands-on role and managing multiple priorities
• Experience in engineering, construction, offshore, maritime, oil & gas, industrial, or multinational environments will be an advantage
• Fluent written and spoken English
