Join our Project Control & Planning team in Kuala Lumpur as a Planning Engineer and contribute to the successful execution of complex offshore projects.
In this role, you will develop and maintain schedules for specific programs, projects, or work packages, working closely with Project Managers and Cost Controllers to ensure stakeholders are regularly informed on project progress and forecasts We are looking for someone with strong analytical and communication skills, eager to take on new challenges and expand responsibilities as part of a dynamic team.

Job Description
- Coordinate planning activities for complex projects and work scopes;
- Convert proposal schedules into detailed project schedules;
- Initiate onshore scope planning and coordinate input from various disciplines, foreign offices, and sub-contractors;
- Issue initial schedules internally for review and approval;
- Create and publish high-profile reports, including project bar charts, histograms, s-curves, and Earned Value reports;
- Maintain project schedules, track progress, update forecasts, and report to the project team, management, and clients;
- Collaborate with the seasonal schedule planner to synchronize project timings and durations;
- Work closely with the Project Cost Controller to share and update project information
- Develop project scenarios, offshore schedules, and mobilization plans;
- Set up and track CAPEX and R&M schedules (e.g., port calls, docking);
- Assist in maintaining the Allseas Daily Progress Report database system;
- Support the development of an integrated resource planning system and Earned Value management and reporting.
Education & Experience
- BSc/MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Naval Architecture or equivalent;
- 3-5 years of experience in preparing, monitoring, and supporting project planning; offshore experience within an offshore/marine environment is a plus
- Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project
- Familiarity with project management structures, network planning, resource planning, and Earned Value management
- Highly organized with a hands-on, practical approach and the ability to work independently
- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
