Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Technical Warehouse Employee to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing technical spare parts and machinery, performing visual and basic quality checks, and ensuring our stock is properly maintained and ready for deployment.

 

Main tasks include:

 

  • Receiving, checking, and dispatching technical spare parts and machinery
  • Performing basic quality inspections and ensuring items are stored correctly
  • Managing stock levels and processing orders in the system
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient logistics

You will work from our BOYS Yard (Bluemarine Offshore Yard Service) in Rotterdam, the logistical hub for project materials and vessel supplies. BOYS manages the storage, maintenance, and preparation of equipment used across our international projects. Occasionally, you may also assist on-site or on board our vessels (offshore).

Education & Experience

In order to be successful in this role you should largely recognize yourself in most of the following:

 

  • Preferably, you hold an MBO degree in a technical or logistical field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in warehouse operations, preferably with technical materials
  • Eather way, you have a technical mindset in order to know your way around machines, spare parts and engines
  • You know how to work with warehouse equipment (e.g. forklift, lifting tools)
  • You possess administrative and organisational skills
  • A proactive and accurate working style and strong communication skills are crucial
